Further information:

Our Certificate II in Security Operations is a 4 day course (or we have a distance learning option) for $500. Completion of this course enables you to then apply for your Unarmed and Crowd Control licence. If you want to add further functions to your security licence, you can then complete either 1 day courses for $150 for each additional function (eg Cash-in-Transit), or you can complete the 4 day Certificate III in Security Operations (note: we offer 2 different Certificate III Security courses – 1 covers additional functions, 1 is just for Unarmed & Crowd control at a higher level than the Cert II).

As mentioned above, we have 2 different Certificate III in Security Operations courses. Our 4 day course requires you to have already completed a Certificate II or hold a security licence. This course covers units for supervisory & management positions, as well as Cash-in-Transit, Bodyguarding, and Monitoring. Once you complete this course, you will be able to add these extra functions to your licence. The cost of this course is $750 for unfunded students who pay upfront. There is Certificate 3 Guarantee government funding available for eligible participants, which means you may only pay as little as $50 for the course.

Our 5 day Certificate III in Security Operations course is similar to the Certificate II course, in that it enables you to apply for your Unarmed and Crowd Control licence (only). The benefit of completing this course is that it is a higher level qualification than the Certificate II, which may impress potential employers, and also includes units on supervisory & management positions. Additionally, there is Certificate 3 Guarantee government funding available for eligible participants, which means you may only pay as little as $50 for the course. The standard cost (for unfunded students) is $750 for upfront payment. If you then want to add additional functions to your security licence, you can complete the 1 day courses for $150, for each additional function (eg Cash-in-Transit).
